Tasting Australia’s 2019 Gourmet Traveller Restaurant Guide Awards round-up

In a room full of Australia’s finest culinary talent, the annual Gourmet Traveller Restaurant Awards were announced on Wednesday night.

Celebrating the best of the best in dining and service, the awards provide a bucket list of experiences for foodies to try, and of the top 100, nine were from South Australia.

Tasting Australia’s Programming Director Jock Zonfrillo celebrated being named third in the Top 100 with Restaurant Orana in Adelaide’s East End.

Zonfrillo announced the award online overnight stating, “Very proud of the team that makes Orana.”

In its first year of business, the d’Arenberg Cube Restaurant has made the list at 51 with it’s weird and wonderful dishes. And the popular Hentley Farm followed at 52.
