Wale cut her teeth as a sommelier and head sommelier at Sydney’s Quay Restaurant where she worked for over a decade.

She has been nominated three times for the Good Food Guide’s Sommelier of the Year award and is a Len Evans Scholar.Wale hosts her own drinks podcast Over A Glass with the Deep in the Weeds Network and spends her day to day writing and reviewing wine for Halliday Wine Companion and Wine Pilot.
