Philip Rachinger

With a family history of six generation running the Mühltalhof hotel and restaurant on the banks of the Mühl, north of Linz, Philip decided early on to gain his industry experience further afield and spent a number of years earning his stripes at restuarants like Steirereck in Vienna, before moving onto Sketch and later Upstairs at the Ten Bells in London and onto Saturne in Paris to work with Sven Chartier. It was here in 2014 where his father Helmut tasted his dishes and asked him to return to work with him at the Mühtalhof.

Since then Philip has been creating modest fair with flavour combinations remaining the priority in all their cooking.
