Tasting Table – Apple of My Eye

Take one autumn Sunday – then add cider. Sure, it’s a simple recipe. But it’s also one certain to work. And even better when Max Allen is in the mix. This Tasting Table will be held at King William Road wine bar ALT. 

Allen, a wine and drinks writer for The Australian Financial Review and Jancis Robinson’s website, is also a prolific author and an honorary fellow in history at the University of Melbourne. Put simply: this man knows good booze. Here he will chronicle cider’s Australian evolution. Look for nationally recognised labels, and some South Australian stars too.
